Sharjah Police delegation praise the development achieved by ADP Dogs Section
 
A delegation from Sharjah Police headed by Captain Ahmad Aadil Al Maamari, Director of Police Dogs Branch and Emergency Unit paid a visit to Police Dogs Branch at ADP. This visit was part of the exchanged visits between police dogs sections of the Ministry of Interior. Their aim was to exchange experiences and knowledge in different security areas and to learn about the development achieved.
 
The delegation was received by Captain Said bin Khalifa fin Rakadh, Acting Head of the Police Dogs Section at ADP and 1st Lt. Mohammad Obeid Al Nuaimi, Director of Support Services Branch. The delegation learned about the tasks and duties of each specialization of dogs duties. The delegation attended a demonstration for the role played by the dogs in detecting explosives, narcotic drugs, riots dispersal and scenes of the crime. The demonstration also included a humanitarian role in tracing survivors and dead bodies under rubble. The delegation acquainted itself with the modern methods of dogs training, reproduction and breeding.
 
During the tour the delegation paid a visit to veterinary clinic where they were briefed by Dr. Ahmed Faiz about the modern equipment used for the treatment and health care of dogs.
 
Captain said bin Rakadh expressed his satisfaction with what he had seen and appreciated the development and progress achieved by ADP in police dogs areas.
