Seminar on family disputes and its effects on children

The Social support center of the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police, as a part of its strategy for 2006 in addressing various issues related to family disputes have attended a seminar on the topic organized at the Al Dafra private school in Al Ain.
The seminar has touched upon the issues of behavioral problems and inter-personal relationships among family members especially between parents and their children.
Speaking on the seminar psychologist Aisha Al Dahri, sited many examples of misconduct among children due to the unhealthy relationship among the parents of the affected children. It is imperative to avoid disputes between parents for bringing up the children in good character she said.
The disputes among parents will have a very adverse effect on the children and in some cases it is difficult to bring back the child to normal behaviour.The parents must be caring, loving, guiding and also set an example to their children. She added.
Students and teachers from all the classes along with their parents attended the seminar.
