Saif bin Zayed holds meeting with Bahraini counterpart 7.6.2006
Interior Minister Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan met here yesterday with Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister of .
The meeting touched on topics of mutual concern and means to enhance cooperation in different security fields. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials at the Interior Ministry.
Sheikh Saif accompanied the Bahraini Minister on a tour of Abu Dhabi International Airport and briefed him on the progress of the work at the airport's e-gate and electronic cards office. Sheikh Rashid returned to his country this evening and was seen off by Sheikh Saif.
Later, Sheikh Saif received Robert Hawke, former Australian Prime Minister and discussed with him topics of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Christopher Courtney, Australian Ambassador.
