Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, recently reviewed the Investors in People (IIP) International Certificate, which was obtained by the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ from the UK-based international organization Investors in People.
Paul Fox, the Deputy Head of Mission and Acting Ambassador at the British Embassy in the UAE, officially presented His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed with the Certificate at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ). He noted that the IIP international certification, which focuses on the strategic development of human cadres’ potential, was awarded to the Human Resources Department at Abu Dhabi Police.
His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed praised the international achievement and urged the Human Resources Department’s team to pursue further efforts and dedication to achieve a sustainable institutional excellence in terms of overall performance and quality of services.
It is worth mentioning that the certificate represents a universal recognition of the efficiency and eligibility of the qualified entity that obtained it. It also contributes to increasing the level of human performance and excellence and enhances the exerted efforts to improve police work in various areas; so as to achieve further excellence and progress at the professional level and in investing in people.
The ceremony was attended by Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier General Jassem Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Deputy Director General of Human Resources; Colonel Thani Butti Al Shamesi, Head of the Training Department at Abu Dhabi Police’s Human Resources Directorate General; along with a number of senior officers.
