Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior honored Corporal Abdullah Ahmed Al Mahri and Corporal Ahmed Mohammed Al Antali from the Ghayathi Police Station at the Western Region Police Directorate. The honoring, which took place in His Highness office, is in recognition of the two officers’ efforts in arresting reckless drivers who have committed traffic violations that threaten the lives of other road users, thus enhancing road safety and preventing road accidents and their resulting serious injuries and casualties.
His Highness lauded the efforts of the honorees in serving the community, urging them to further pursue excellence by providing better services to society and helping others.
For their part, the two honorees expressed their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for this tribute. Adding further, they emphasized that this accolade represents a strong incentive for them to carry out their duties. It also reflects the significant care dedicated by the police leadership to the police staff members in the various work locations.
The honoring ceremony was attended by Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Brigadier Omair Al Muhairi, Deputy Director of Police Operations; Colonel Sheikh Mohammad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director of Peripheral Regions Directorate; and Colonel Ojeil Al Junaibi, Director of the Western Region Police Directorate.
