Rain caused 427 accidents

A total of 427 traffic accidents occurred in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain as a result of the rains on Tuesday.
Colonel Gaith Hasan al Zaabi, Head of the Traffic and patrol department at the Abu Dhabi Police said that 300 accidents occurred in the capital and 127 in Al Ain.
He said that the main reason for the accidents was speeding by the motorists without considering the poor visibility conditions caused due to the rain.
Major Ali al Zahari, Head of the operations at the Abu Dhabi Police department said that resulted in moderate and serious injuries.
Major Mohammed Ibrahim al Amri ,Head of the ambulance and rescue section ,Al Ain said that there weren’t any causalities in the accidents in Al Ain .he said that the ambulance and rescue teams in both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain were able to successfully aid the injured and transfer them to the near by hospitals.
