Police receive 1, 29,000 accident calls last month.
The operation room of the Abu Dhabi Police has received a staggering 1, 29,000 calls related to reporting of accidents which occurred in the capital city last month according to the official reports.
Two third of 1, 90, 439 calls were related to road accidents. Major Mohammed Ali Al Dhahiri, Director of operations department said, there was a significant increase of 14,810 calls over the figures of September, other than accident reports, other calls related to Security, Civil defence, CID and Marine, he said.
Road accidents during the month claimed three lives and a total of 137 persons were injured in various accidents.
