Pakistani National rescued from desert
 by Abu Dhabi Police Air wing
 
 Also Air lifts two serious patients for immediate medical aid
 
 
A Pakistani national who was abandoned in a desert near Al Selea, Abu Dhabi Saudi border by a criminal gang after looting his valuables was rescued by the air wing department of the Abu Dhabi Police.
 
The Central operations room received an emergency call from the victim and the control room sung into action to rescue him immediately. The Pakistani national was on his way from work while he was offered the car lift by a taxi with other passengers in it. On the way he was relived of all his money and other possessions and left in a deserted area near Al Salea.
 
The gang could not see the victims mobile which helped him to intimate the incident to the Police control room. As he was unable to identify the location where he was left by the gang, the Police operations room got in touch with etisalat and located the area the same was intimated to the air wing rescue team which airlifted the victim to safety.
 
He then was taken to Al Salea hospital for medical check up and the Al Salea Police is investigating the incident to catch the culprits. The entire operation was carried out under the supervision of Colonel Ali Al Mazroui, director of the air wing department at the General headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police
 
In another rescue operation two patients were air lifted for immediate treatment .one patient aged 62 years and in a seriously ill was air lifted from Kalba hospital to Sheikh Khalifa hospital for immediate medical care. The other patient was airlifted from Ajman and taken to Twam hospital in Al Ain.
 
Colonel Mazroui said that these timely operations of the air wing show the preparedness of the Abu Dhabi police to meet any challenging situations in short notice.
