One Person killed and 7others injured in Traffic accidents
One person was killed and other seven injured in different traffic accidents that occurred during last week in Abu Dhabi.
The causes of accidents according to Captain Salem Mohsen Zahran, the Manager of traffic fines and violations mainly were over speeding and carelessness while driving. There were incidents of red light jumping and not caring for other vehicles.
Over 1752 traffic fines were also issued during the week out of which 1162 were issued in absentia, 590 for hindering the traffic flow he added. Captain salem called upon the motorists to respect and follow the traffic regulations and assure the safety of all.
He asked the motorists to be very cautious while driving near the schools and take extreme care with regard to pedestrian crossings to avoid any fatal accidents. do not park the vehicle in restricted areas and invite huge fines he warned.
