Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior (MOI), honored the Internal Security Exercises Assessment Committee for its efforts during 2011 in assessing internal security exercises that were implemented in line with the annual training plan of the ministry. The recognition came during a ceremony organized at the Central Operations Department, Ministry of Interior.
Al Sha'far commended the efforts made by general departments of police forces in implementing these exercises, which aim at enhancing the police work and promote cooperation with partners to achieve desired goals.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Lieutenant General Al Sha'far distributed appreciation certificates to the head and members of the committee.
Honoring included Major General Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, Acting General Commander of Civil Defense, Chief of Assessment Committee; Brigadier General Salim Saleh Al Junaibi, Director, Medical Services Department in Abu Dhabi Police, Vice Chief of the Committee; Staff Colonel Abdul Wahhab Ahmed Al Hajeri, Director General, Central Operations; and other committee members.
The ceremony was attended by Major General Khamis Saif bin Suwaif, Director General, Criminal Security; Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Darwish, Director General, Human Resources in the Ministry; Brigadier General Omar Abdul Aziz Al Shamesi, Director, Command and Control Center Department, Dubai Police; and a number of Directors at the MoI.
