MoI Organizes Workshop to Enhance Quality in Police Work

The Ministry of Interior recently organized a workshop to enhance quality in police work. The workshop discussed the standardization of measures at the ports security sector, within the methodology of continuous development and improvement adopted by the ministry.

The workshop was inaugurated by Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Saeed Matar Al Suraidi, Head of Quality Department, at the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development. He highlighted the importance of the workshop in laying down a foundation for discussion related to travelers’ inspection procedures across border ports, and establishing a platform to allow quality teams’ representatives to follow up on the procedures standardization process at the various border across the country.

The workshop, which took place at the Hilton Hotel in the emirate of Sharjah, was attended by quality teams’ representatives from the General Directorates of Police Operations and Ports Security Departments at the police general headquarters.
