The Ministry of Interior (MoI) discussed the mechanisms for using the Government Adaa 2.0 e-program during a training workshop organized by the Ministry’s Strategy and Performance Development Department. A total of 13 officers and non-commissioned officers from the Department took part in the recent workshop, which was held at the meeting hall of the Department complex.

The workshop was supervised by the Institutional Performance Measurement Section and tackled the mechanisms for using the program when listing data related to the MoI’s Strategic Plan for 2014-2016. It also explored the preparations for listing the data related to the Ministry’s Strategic Plan for 2017-2021, which is monitored and evaluated by the Prime Minister’s Office.

The workshop also discussed a number of topics, including: A summary of the Adaa 2.0 system, and the processes of strategic data entry, and amending data and results. Participants were familiarized with the mechanisms for entering real values into the e-system.

Major Ali Sultan Al Nuaimi, Deputy Head of the Strategy and Performance Development Department of the Ministry, stressed the importance of the workshop. He praised its investment of time and effort in engaging employees from the Department’s sections in the process of entering data for the various strategic initiatives and indicators, which support the MoI’s strategic plan.

He noted that the workshop supports the Ministry bids that participated in the governmental excellence awards. He explained that the bids are based on the UAE Vision 2021, as well as the UAE’s efforts to become one of the most developed countries in the world.
