The Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior organized the second Leadership Development Forum under the theme “Smart Government Council”.

The forum was attended by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Acting Director General of Electronics and Telecommunications Services, and Major General Abdul Aziz Maktoum Al Shareefi, Director General of Protective Security, along with a number of officers from the Ministry of Interior.

In his speech at the forum, which was recently organized at the Waldorf Astoria in Dubai, Major General Al Raisi said that the achievements compiled by the Ministry of Interior reflect the level of development it has attained, as a part of its strategy for the e-transformation and sustainability of the services provided by the ministry.

The forum was inaugurated by Major Abdul Rahman Al Mansouri, Head of Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Ministry of Interior. Major Al Mansouri noted that strategy has become a prerequisite y in the contemporary world, in order to achieve a safe, secure and stable life for all community members. “The UAE has always endeavored to achieve uniqueness and improve government performance,” he continued.

Adding further, he said that the forum is a key factor in the constant evolution witnessed by the Ministry of the Interior, in its efforts to sustain excellence in performance and success in work processes in order to attain the highest levels.

During the forum, key topics and objectives on the agenda were discussed. Towards the end of the forum, the Acting Director General of Electronics and Telecommunications Services distributed certificates to participants.
