Researcher Colonel Rashid Saeed Rashid Hassan Al Qaishi from the General Directorate of Federal Criminal Police at the Ministry of Interior obtained a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a ranking of “Very Good”. His thesis, titled “Police Officers’ Authority in the Inference Phase: comparative study” was discussed at the Police College.

The panel of professors was chaired and supervised by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shalal Habib, Professor of Criminal Law at Sharjah University. The panel included Dr. Mamdouh Khalil Al Bahr, Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at the Police College (Head Supervisor and member); Dr. Refaat Mohammed Rashwan, Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at the Police College (Member) and Dr. Obaid Al Mesmari, Assistant Professor of Police Sciences at the Police College (Assistant Supervisor and member).

The thesis presentation was attended by Major Dr. Nasser M. Al Baker, Director of Postgraduate Studies at the Police College, and Major Sultan Rashed Al Ibrahimi, Chief of Students Affairs Section, as well as a number of officers and lecturers from the Police College.

It is worth mentioning that the thesis presentation is part of the master’s program for post-graduate students at the Police College, which aims to supervise and discuss postgraduate students’ thesis. In conclusion, the Post-graduate Studies Department wished students the best of luck and success.
