Major General Al Nuaimi Decorates 40 ADP Officers with their New Ranks
In a ceremony held on Monday at the Forensic Evidence Hall at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, awarded 40 officers with their new ranks. The officers were promoted by virtue of the Federal decree No. (7) of 2015 that His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, had recently issued at the level of the departments affiliated to the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Major General Al Nuaimi noted that this promotion, which included a group of officers from various work locations, represents an incentive for them to make further contributions in performing and upgrading their missions in security - which embodies the vision of the police leadership. The vision of the leadership aims to accomplish the consistent provision of the best services to citizens, residents and visitors while maintaining security and stability.
Major General Al Nuaimi stressed the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to improve the skills and competencies of its staff members and to encourage innovation. He also urged the newly promoted officers to keep pace with the latest developments, which complies with the ministry’s strategy and methodology aimed at enhancing the competencies of its staff members in accordance with the best international standards.
He expressed his confidence in the ability to accomplish even greater achievements, and for Ministry’s staff members to steadfastly project the image of progress and prosperity through teamwork and by putting forth additional effort in order to achieve the aspirations of the police leadership.
