Since the beginning of 2011 up to the end of September, the Center of Research and Security Studies at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ has conducted as many as 66 survey studies that included over 150000 questionnaires.
These questionnaires and studies generally aim to measure police force job satisfaction, as well as public satisfaction about the police services and trends, said director of Strategy and Performance Development, Colonel Mohammed Dalmouj Al Dhaheri.
The most important surveys conducted included public trends towards police, public trends towards voluntary work in police, internet cafes in residential areas and their negative impacts, measuring public satisfaction about vehicles and drivers licensing departments and other police departments, indicated Al Dhaheri.
They also covered job satisfaction for policewomen working at criminal investigation, and employees of purchases and stores departments as well as employees working at different departments of Abu Dhabi police, he further added.
Questionnaires observe proper scientific criteria including honesty, consistency and subjectivity, head of Opinions Survey Team at the Center, pointed out Captain Dr. Omar Ibrahim Al Ali.
Studies and surveys conducted by the Center achieve a lot of objectives including boosting of communication between the police and the public, apart from disseminating culture of research. By dint of these studies, quiet a big number of Abu Dhabi Police departments managed to obtain quality certificates.
