Traffic Points Rehabilitation Program
Service definition:
A program that allows the drivers to reduce their traffic points or retrieve their confiscated driving license. It aims to enhance their driving skills and extend their juridical perceptions by the strategic partnerships.
Operation steps:
1. Register in course.
2. Pay course registration fees to the accredited driving institute.
3. Present in course stated appointment.
4. Receive course accomplishment certificate.
5. Reduce the traffic points and retrieve confiscated driving license.
Required documents:
v Driving license or identity card photocopy.
Fees:
v To reduce the traffic points (550) Dhs.
v To retrieve the confiscated driving license (850) Dhs.
Special conditions:
v Reduction of traffic points:-
Ø The number of traffic points should not exceed (23) when entering the course.
Ø It is allowed to enter the course ones a year for each traffic anterior.
Ø (8) traffic points are reduced for each course.
v Retrieval of confiscated driving license:-
Ø Each driver perpetrates third traffic anterior, can enter the course.
Ø Reaching the cumulative limit (24)BPs as a third anterior is for the permanent driving license.
Ø Each heavy vehicle driver that causes accident which leads to deterioration of his or others vehicles, crosses the red light or transcends in place where it is not allowed to transcend.
Ø Drivers with temporary driving license have the right to enter the course when they reached the cumulative limit ones a year.

- Receive a confirmation on the transfer of the traffic violations.
Required documents:
- Original Application from the beneficiary requesting the transfer of traffic violations.
- Copy of the Sale contract.
- Copy of the Driving licence.
- Copy of the Authorised signatory or power of attorney.
- Copy of the PRO card issued by the Vehicles Licensing Department.
The traffic violations transfer is possible only within 45 days from the day the violation occurred.

Through this service, companies, commercial organisations and showrooms which are involved in the activity of buying and selling new and used vehicles can request the issuance or renewal of plates for vehicles under testing to facilitate the movement of unregistered vehicles.
Please follow the steps below:
- Submit the application along with the required documents at the Trade Licences Section.
- Sign on the applications and commitments that govern the work with the plates for vehicles under testing.
- Pay the Traffic fines.
- Receive a letter for the issuance or renewal of plates of vehicles under test.

- Original Application from the beneficiary requesting the issuance of specified number of vehicle plates under test.
- Original Bank guarantee based on the number of vehicle plates.
- Original Bank guarantee based on the number of vehicle plates.
- Original Insurance policy for the vehicle plates.
