Abu Dhabi Police GHQ – Traffic and Patrols Directorate announces that as the Holy month of Ramadan approaches and due to change of official duty hours, timings of peak hours ban for entry and driving of  trucks and heavy vehicles (2.5 tons and above) on Abu Dhabi City roads during Ramadan have been changed as follows:

• Morning peak period:   From 7:00 am to 9:00 am
• Afternoon peak period: From 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm 

After the end of Ramadan, old ban timings will come to normal. To maintain public safety and traffic flow, Traffic and Patrols Directorate urges all truck drivers to adhere to the plan mentioned above.
