Saif bin Zayed in Oman to boost joint cooperation
HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior confirms the keenness of the leadership of UAE and Sultanate of Oman to enhance coordination, consultation and cooperation, to materialize the aspirations of both countries on his visit to Oman.
HH held discussions with HE Lt. General Malik bin Suleiman Al Mammary, Inspector General of Police and Customs in Oman which was attended Major General Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of HH’s Office, Major General Mohammad Al Awadhi Al Minhali, Director General of Human Resources, and Lt. Col. Sheikh Mohammad bin Tahnoon director of peripheral areas in Abu Dhabi police.
Omani side was represented by M.G. Salim bin Musalam Qattan, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs, Brigadier Suhail bin Amir, Director of General and Criminal Investigations and Brigadier Jamal Nasseeb, Commander of Muscat Governorate Police and a number of senior officers.
Many topics were discussed including border links, fighting infiltration, eye print and its role in curbing any attempts of infiltration. HH also met Omani Minster of Interior HE Saud bin Ibrahim Al Busaidi. They discussed further coordination and issues of mutual interest.HH paid a visit to civil status building where HH learnt about ID and finger print systems, and mobile operations room used in crisis management.
