Major General Al Nuaimi appreciates “Volvo”
Initiative in supporting traffic week activities
Major General Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of HH Deputy prime Minister and Minister Of Interior’s Office, received at his office Mr. Thomas Earn Burg, Regional President of Volvo Motors Company in the Middle East.
Al Nuaimi confirmed HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s keenness to enhance partnership with different community institutions and sectors. HH lauded Volvo Company initiative to participate in traffic awareness event. It is well known that Volvo Company pays great attention to safety measures in its cars production.
Volvo Group car industry goes back to 1927 when they made the first Volvo car in their Gothenburg factory, Sweden. Now the company covers 100 countries and has 2400 selling outlets and workshops all over the world. Of these there are 1500 in Europe and 400 in USA.
At the end of the ceremony Major general Al Nuaimi and Mr. Burg exchanged trophies.
