Super cars ME Championship winners
Major General (S) Obeid Al Hiri Salim Al Kitbi, Deputy C-in-C of Abu Dhabi Police lauded Abu Dhabi Governments keenness to promote world car races promotional which also makes it attract tourists and conduct big similar events.
He stated this on the conclusion of Asian World G. B.2 Race hosted by Yass Island Track, which was followed by two additional championships: Chevrolet Super cars Middle East Championship and Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East "Yass Island track has become a center of attraction for car races for world organizers due to its integrated facilities and infrastructure".
Al Kitbi honored the winners of Chevrolet Super cars ME Championship. The first winner was an Australian of Egyptian origin Mr. Tariq Jamal. The second place was occupied by Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa of Bahrain and Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Yaeesh from Saudi Arabia came in the third place.
