The Community Police Department in Sharjah presented educational guidelines for the protection properties to residents across the emirate. These guidelines, which are a part of the “Our Properties—Our Responsibility” campaign, were presented through the 5th Sharjah Suburbs Championship that hosts sports clubs representing different neighborhoods in the emirate.
The Ministry of Interior recently launched its campaign under the theme: “Our Properties—Our Responsibility,” at the state level. The campaign, which aims to educate individuals about protecting private and public property, is organized by the Federal Community Police at the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the Community Police and Police Centers around the country.
Colonel Abdullah Hameed Taryam, Director of Community Police Department, said that the police have distributed educational brochures to the public to educate them on the campaign, its goals, and its programs as well as urging residents to maintain and protect properties referring to the positive cooperation from their side.
He stressed on enhancing the concept of protecting private and public properties among individuals, pointing out that the campaign comes in line with the start of the summer holidays. The campaign helps police to educate students and fill their free time by developing their sense of security and community, in order to take part in preserving stability in society.
Colonel Taryam commended the campaign that is part of the federal and local community police initiatives, which receive a positive response among community police personnel across the country. He also praised the efforts made by the Federal Community Police Department and Sharjah Community Police personnel to educate society members to spread security and stability within residential communities.
