Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations honored the winners of the Ministry of Interior Excellence Award 2012, which is in its second session, in the Criminal Evidence Directorate Hall. The "Director General Award" comprises the ideal employee categories that have 14 awards in addition several other award categories including the creativity and innovation award, the ideal driver award, and the community service award.
Major Al Raisi also honored competition participants, and department directors praising the efforts of directors in engaging their departments in the competitions. He honored the evaluation team in the public directorate as well, and the organizers and administrators who took part in the success of the event.
Brigadier General Ismail Haji Al Sirkal, Deputy Director General of the Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations attended the ceremony, as well as the departments’ Directors of the Central Operations and the representatives of Institutional Excellence Secretariat Department in the Abu Dhabi Police.
In his speech, Major Al Raisi stated that the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters has adopted an approach to achieve excellence by applying performance standards to its services and operations, which support the strategic objectives of the Police General Headquarters. He pointed to the Police Headquarters’ commitment to continually upgrade the institutional work and encourage and motivate the talented employees.
He congratulated the winners and urged them to continue their outstanding efforts, wishing them success in the “Leader Award” of the Ministry of Interior Excellence Award second phase of the competitions.
He also called on them to intensify their efforts, as central Operations General Directorate ambassadors to the “Leader Award.” He then handed certificates to the honorees.
Captain Muhammad Al Obaidali, Director of the Studies and Technical Affairs Branch of ICT Division at the Central Operations Department in the Abu Dhabi Police delivered a speech in which he explained that the Ministry of Interior Excellence Award was established to highlight the excellence, creativity and innovation of employees, and their drive achieve leadership in all fields.
