In a series of introductory seminars, held at the police officers’ hall in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region, the Organizational Excellence Section at the General Directorate of Strategy and Performance Development of Abu Dhabi Police explained the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award regulation in its second session for Abu Dhabi Police members.
The seminars, which included the various departments at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, are part of the preparation process to participate in the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award in its 2nd session. They focused on awards given for experiences and teams, notably the Distinguished Services Developing team; Enhancing Distinguished Internal Performance, the Distinguished technician, the External Distinguished Participant, the Internal Distinguished Participant, as well as the Distinguished Criminal Investigation team.
The seminars included an explanation on the teams’ Awards criteria, conditions, and technical regulations for nomination applications; in order to ensure active participation in the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award, in its second session.
A number of officers, non-commissioned officers, individuals and civilians from the various police departments participated in the seminars.
Captain Rashid Abdullah Al Dosari, Head of Organizational Excellence Section, and Coordinator of the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award in Abu Dhabi Police, stated that the series of introductory seminars highlighted the necessary standards to be spread among the various work teams in Abu Dhabi Police, and to motivate teams to participate and compete in the Commander in Chief’s Award as part of the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award.
It is noteworthy that the series of introductory seminars started immediately following the launch of the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award in its second session. 12 seminars were organized, shedding light on the Ideal Employee Award; the general regulations and requirements for participation, and the necessary criteria to motivate the employees to participate in the Director General’s Awards.
